BLOOD MAGIC

One of the Dark Arts, blood magic is an occult magic practiced by the vampires and their allies. It involves human sacrifice, sacrificing one's own blood, bloodletting, blood pacts, drinking blood, burning blood, adding blood to potions, and using blood as ink for scrolls.

Different effects are produced depending on whether the blood is harvested from a living being, a young being, an old being, a dead being, or one that has been freshly killed. Initiation rites take place on the night of a Blood Moon- a lunar eclipse which temporarily turns the moon red.
