THE STANES

Stanes are a people that have long ruled the cold, and always will. The coat of arms is a shaggy stag with antlers, tusks, and a long tail.

The Winterwood provides ample opportunity for hunting deer, elk, reindeer, and herding sheep closer to the Great Blue Mountains.

Culture

Stanes worship Vrana, the goddess of fate.

Locations

FROZEN RIVER — A frozen solid river running through the Winterwood.

NORTHSHORE — The northernmost town. It lies at the edge of Astfold, on the coast of the Sapphire Sea. Fishing and the hunting of hares, goats, and waterfowl are its main sources of food.

SNOWBELL — A charming winter village. Sleighs carried by reindeer pull passengers and goods through roads covered in ice and snow.

YRALITH — An ancient frozen citadel.
